The Hunter Mysteries

Originally, I wanted to create a work that combined elements of the BBC’s Sherlock series (starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman) and the seven-season series of The Closer (starring Kyra Sedgwick). The jury is still out about whether this hope was achieved.
The fun of this series is as much about exploring different character personalities and how they interact as it is about solving a mystery. So, how many cases will there be per volume? I don't know. I'm only the writer. Don't ask such difficult questions.

1) A Case of Simple Murder
Summary:
Murder or suicide? Which is worse: no suspect or too many suspects? Did the most likely suspect really commit the murder–if it was murder at all? Meet the team of Roswell Police Department's Major Case squad on their first case of the series. They take on an event that begins as routine but turns into something unexpected. The trail takes them along some of the more dangerous, lower avenues of society: gangs and the Mob. Will Hunter and the team catch the one responsible or will the perpetrator remain free?
