(Updated cover image in-progress)

Summary:

Evil never sleeps and has quietly regathered strength since the last war. Seditionists have expanded their forces and increased their numbers, all in secrecy.

Legionnaire forces sense Evil’s stirring and a shadow forms in the minds of the generals who fought in the previous war.

In the middle of this dawning conflict are two sisters. Their importance comes not from their skill in combat or the strength of their gifts. It stems from the purpose of their very existence. Their arrival marks a pivotal shift in Time. This importance gives them unique power, which is amplified by their strong sibling bond. However, such power draws the keen interest of Evil. If It can bring them into the Seditionist forces, then their gifts could be used for a terrible end.

Peace is breaking, and the time for war is rising. Darkness seeks to ensnare the sisters. If It succeeds, Its shadow will spread across man’s realm and through many other unseen dimensions. Evil is cunning and possesses many strategies to lure victims. Anyone can identify a direct assault, but what about subtle deceit that consumes the mind and unhinges reality? The fate of the sisters greatly determines the course of the greatest war man has witnessed in ages.

Part Two: Conflict Resolution

Digital art cover for the book Legionnaire Part Two Conflict Resolution.

Summary:

Six years have passed since the war began. The dark army maintains control over the systems and planets it seized in the conflict’s opening phase.

The dark army generals continue wielding great fear and power. Whenever the overlord himself enters battle, terror and death go before him. Beings of Darkness also commune with him and his leadership. They must ensure the human’s success to increase Evil’s territory and influence. To do this, the human ruler and the demon generals agree to a high-stakes plan involving one of the human beacons.

However, the overlord’s human forces aren’t unstoppable. Sometimes, warriors tire of war and create their own agendas. Often, the deepest threat to an organization comes from within itself.

Local planetary fighting units have also been engaging in guerilla warfare against the Seditionist army.

Simultaneously, the Legionnaires are finally prepared to begin a major offensive against their enemy. Some battles are fought in direct confrontations. Others are waged in spycraft and the use of elite rogue units. Just as the dark army must take risks, so must the Legionnaires if they are to uproot Evil’s hold and liberate the systems.

Much will happen as this relentless struggle between Darkness and Light comes to a head. Loyalty. Betrayal. Justice. Loss. Unexpected allies.

The sisters remain intertwined in the middle of this struggle. Both have grown in power in different ways. As the main phase of the war unfolds, events bring them closer and closer. In the end, they will understand the full weight of the consequences of their rift.
